NXP ICode SliX2 Card

The NXP I CODE SLI-X 2 is a high-performance, high-frequency RFID tag chip from NXP. As an upgraded version of the I CODE SLI-X series, it maintains the advantages of long-range identification and multi-tag concurrent processing while further optimising data security and system compatibility. It is suitable for automated management scenarios such as smart logistics, asset tracking, and meeting check-in.

This chip operates in the 13.56 MHz band, complies with the ISO/IEC 15693 international standard, has a 1024-bit storage capacity and a 64-bit unique ID serial number, supports anti-collision mechanisms, and can operate stably in dense tag environments. Its typical read/write distance is 2.5–10 cm, which can be extended to approximately 1 meter with a gantry antenna, meeting the needs of channel-based batch reading. It has a data write/erase cycle life of over 100,000 times and an information retention time of over 10 years, making it suitable for long-term deployment applications.

Security Features: Supported AFI (Application Family Identifier), DSFID (Data Format Identifier), 32-bit access password protection, and EAS (Electronic Article Surveillance) functionality.

Key Features:

Long-range identification capability: Compared to ISO 14443 protocol cards (such as MIFARE Classic), the SLI-X 2 can achieve contactless reading over a longer distance at the same power, making it particularly suitable for batch scanning scenarios such as access control channels and warehouse channels.

Strong anti-interference and high efficiency: Supports a true multi-tag anti-collision mechanism, capable of reading dozens of cards simultaneously, widely used in high-concurrency scenarios such as meeting check-in and book inventory.

Passive design: Requires no built-in battery, obtaining power through electromagnetic induction, resulting in low maintenance costs and suitability for large-scale deployment.

Flexible packaging and personalised printing: Can be made into standard-size cards (85.6×54×0.8 mm) or customised labels, with surface support for offset printing, screen printing, QR code printing, etc., facilitating manual verification and branded applications.

Strong system compatibility: Widely compatible with various ISO 15693 reader/writer devices and can be integrated into NFC systems to achieve interaction with mobile terminals.

Why Choose the NXP ICODE SLIX2?

This chip provides a perfect combination of high memory capacity, industry-standard protocol compatibility, and long reading range. It’s ideal for advanced item-level tagging, anti-counterfeiting, and complex industrial tracking solutions.

Application Areas
