Descripción
The 4442 Contact Smart Card is an EEPROM-based solution for secure data storage applications. It features 256-byte memory, password protection, ISO/IEC 7816-3 compatibility, and support for replacing SLE4442/SLE5542/AM5542.
4442 Contact Smart Card Key Technical Features:
Storage Structure:
256-byte EEPROM Main Storage Area: Supports byte-level read and write operations.
32-bit Protection Bit Area: Each bit maps to the first 32 bytes, providing permanent write protection for the Contact Smart Card data.
4-byte Confidential Storage Area: Contains a 3-byte user password and a 1-byte error counter, providing additional security functions for the Contact IC Card.
Security Mechanisms:
3-Byte User Password: The card allows 3 incorrect attempts before the lock is activated. The card permits read operations only and blocks further modifications after reaching the limit. The password protection mechanism improves data security for the Contact Smart Card. The card enables write operations after successful password verification. Users can modify the password during the current session, but power loss resets changes.
